When the first official images of the M3 Convertible started to surface online everyone thought that it will make its world debut at the Detroit Auto Show. But BMW denied any rumor and said that we will need to wait untuil March when the M3 Convertible will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
The same as the Coupe and the Sedan version, the Convertible will be powered by the same 4.0 liter V8 engine that delivers 420 hp. But, compared to the Coupe version, the Convertible will be a little bit slower: it will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 5.3 seconds (0.4 seconds slower than the coupe).
