Brake energy regeneration is all the rage these days on everything from full out electric vehicles to hybrids and even straight up gasoline engines on new BMWs. On all of those vehicles, the kinetic energy that would normally be transformed into heat energy through friction brakes is used to turn an electrical generator that charges a battery, harnessing that energy for later use. Of course in many respects the greenest mode of transportation is your feet. Going out and walking using the energy from the food you eat may be the most efficient way of harnessing solar energy. 10

These are pictures from the first Ford GT on Dutch license plates. This car has been parked at a dealership for a long time and has been in the country since December 2006 but unfortunately it never got out! The car has been spotted once in Amsterdam on green dealership plates but the car got it's final license plate on February 1st. This car sounds absolutely awesome, great sound and a very nice color.
But there is more! Inside sources say this is not the only Ford GT in Holland. There are at least 3 more but they never leave the stable. And that's a bummer, those cars should be driving on the road.
The Ford GT is the fastest car ever built by Ford. The GT is a rebirth of the GT40 used in the sixties in various Le Mans races. Ford gave the new car a 5.4 liter V8 engine that produces 550 bhp. From 0 - 100 kilometers per hour takes only 3.3 seconds. Ford has built 4500 GT's but only a handful of them reached Europe, most of them found an owner in the United States. The topspeed is almost 330 kilometers per hour, insance for the Dutch highways but a dream for the German autobahn!

Ferrari will unveil at the Paris Motor Show in October, a new GranTurismo model, project that at the moment is "top secret"! And how when "top secret" can’t resist in the auto-market, many magazines presented lately their idea of what the next Ferrari might be.
First rumors were talking about a three-seater model, model that for sure is not going to happen; and that was denied by Ferrari from the beginning.
Second rumors, more possible, is talking about a coupe-cabriolet model with folding hard-top. It will be powered by a V8 engine that will deliver around 450 hp.
Compared to the 612 Scaglietti, the new model will be 50 cm shorter, and, according to Ferrari the future 2+2 model will have the same performances as the F430, but will be in the same time the cheapest Ferrari at the moment.
