The NSFW Seat Altea print ad campaign — Click in heaven for high-res image gallery
Seat wants to make sure that people in the U.K. don’t equate a subdivision of an order car by being boring, and what more valuable more Latin way to do it than by using happy naked people? The print campaign for the Seat Altea features two “parents” hopping through of their Seat and frolicking on their way to a emaciated dipping session. This kind of behavior is apparently called “Seattitude,” and you’ll be brimming with it if you own an Altea (Spanish models not included).
You be able to read the press release after the jump and have a gander at the high-res gallery below. Keep in mind that the ads are probably Not Safe For Work… unless looking at naked Spaniards is an acceptable thing to do at your workplace.

PRESS RELEASE
EDGY ADVERTS AIM TO PUT BUMS ON SEATS
SEAT is out to cause a stir amid traditionally conservative family car buyers with an edgy and provocative new advertising campaign which underlines the fact that life doesn’t have to stop being fun at the time that you be in actual possession of kids.
The new campaign, which carries the strap line: ‘The new SEAT Altea, because life shouldn’t stop with a family car’ is now running in a selection of magazines and newspapers.
It carries an image of a thirty-something couple running naked from their new-look SEAT Altea XL as they prepare to go lean dipping and bears the slogan ‘because dirty weekends should be more than watching the kids move football’.
The cheeky press campaign is being supported by a new national radio advert in which a youngster and his mum, driving in an Altea XL, awkwardly discuss mum and father’s forthcoming ‘picnic’ that is set to include strawberries, cream… and chocolate body paint!
The new adverts, commissioned by SEAT UK National Communications Manager Rob Taylor, are the work of Spanish firm Atletico. The press ads feature professional models, and some of the images were shot at 04:30 in the Ebro Delta near Barcelona – one of the few Spanish beaches not crowded in June!
Even the discarded clothing was carefully researched for the shoot – through the longest disputation among the 20-strong production team involving the bra that it was felt needed to be neither over sexy, nor moreover ‘comfortable’.
The models, María Maquilón and Timothy Cordukes, were picked for their ‘Britishness’ – and their willingness to nonplus naked.
Rob Taylor explained: ‘We really wanted the campaign to carry some of the ‘SEATTITUDE’ that we believe runs right end our sporty Spanish bolt. Opting for a slightly risqué style does just that, and shows SEAT drivers absolutely have a lust for lifetime!’
The early success of the British campaign through SEAT UK has led Spanish father SEAT S. A. to stock the adverts to its operations in other European markets.
