UK Police Caught Forging Speed Camera Documents

A UK court threw out a pair speed camera citations yesterday after a retired veteran police officer admitted on the stand that he falsified official documents used as proof that the tickets were mailed within statutory deadlines. The Southampton Crown Court concluded that it was an abuse of process for a Hampshire and Isle of Wight speed camera partnership employee to backdate documents. The employee said he was acting on direct orders from his superiors.

Ferrari California nabbed at 231km/h; impounded

A new Ferrari California, said to be one of only two in Australia, has been impounded by means of police after a Perth-based motoring journalist was caught travelling at 231km/h through the West Australian wheatbelt.

Speculation in Britain that the Serious Fraud Office is to investigate a case surrounding the collapse of MG Rover in 2005 has been confirmed today with a British Government enquiry recommending a criminal investigation.

Now that cross cars have taken the top sales spots in Japan for the last few months, that country’sitting Transport Ministry is reportedly launching an investigation to determine granting that it’s long-headed to require hybrid automobiles to exhale an artificial sound when operating with the internal combustion switched off.
